30) After thoughts and closing notes.

Cosmology is the subject that broadly stands for the studies of the cosmos, but if that is the case, then it must be the widest and deepest science there is, because it would include descriptions and explanations of phenomena encompassing not only the  macrocosm but also the microcosm as well as possibly all the realities that exist within the infinite cosmic realm. Realities here means not only the physical existence of the universe but also the existence of life, and not only the energies that motivate activities of life, but also energies that empower motions within the cosmos. Then in order to account for the complete cosmological cause and consequence, it is necessary to consider not just physical phenomena but also metaphysical phenomena as well. I have hoped to describe a little more about metaphysics in these pages, but I am so hopelessly limited that I have managed only to concentrated on a few physical phenomena so far, because physical things are easier for discussion with facts established by physical science, whereas metaphysics seem boundless....

One of the very earliest science in history was cosmology. According to Chinese legendary history the first efforts to examine nature's many acts and changes with effects on human life took place over 7000 years ago. The system is now known as "I-Ching", which was originally an ancient form of cosmology. "I" (pronounced "eee") means "Change" and "Ching" (pronounced "zhing") means "Book", or "Sutra", together they mean "The Book of Change". In fact, what's behind the changes in the book are illustrations of force symmetries. There are all together 64 types of symmetries with interpretations in the Book of Change, which imply that all things and events in nature as well as in life are evolved from simple poles of opposition, namely Yin and Yang, or rather from "Action" to "Reaction" evolve to more complex symmetries, such as 4 poles and 8 poles, etc... Legend has it that the earliest known tribal leader Fu-Xi had developed the original 8 symmetries some 7000 years ago. A complete and fully developed theory of I-Ching with 64 symmetries was found to be in use well before 2500 years ago (Confucius loved it). However, the theory later departed from cosmology and fell to the use as Art of Divination, or Prediction, through which it became popular. (Please read story in the Related Topics, page "Story of Yin-Yang and the earliest correlation to cosmology") .. 

Outside China, similar observations of nature occurred over 5000 years ago in the desert of  Mesopotamia, today's Iraq, where systematic observation of celestial phenomena was begun. Records were kept and arithmetical procedures were developed to correlate the observed celestial data. From that historical stem slowly the celestial science developed into different branches of specialized sciences, such as astronomy and astrology. Since then such science has passed through the Age of Geocentric Universe, then onto the Age of Heliocentric Universe, and now, perhaps at last, we have reached the age for that omnipotent and omnipresent universe, which we may call the Age of Omni-centric Universe, meaning there is no fixed center or referential point because of three reasons. 1) Since our vision and observation cannot go beyond the speed of light, the universe is far too big for our instruments to observe or measure. We are unable to guess or visualize any size or limit for the universe.  2). Everything we can see or observe in the universe is in regulated dynamic motion. 3), In order for the universe to achieve its present maturity, it must under go unending repetitions of evolution and regenerating, Therefore as far as we can observe or rationalize, the universe is a Regenerating Universe, which also means the universe is neither Geocentric, nor Heliocentric, it is probably Omni-centric! 

However, for a few decades some parts of theoretical science have gone far into unfamiliar territories. It may even be said that 20th century cosmology, even entire sciences, had been guided by one single hypothetical doctrine (purely hypothetical!), which claimed that the speed of light is the limiting speed of all real bodies in motion. In other words, nothing in the universe can possibly move faster than the speed of light, although there has never been any proof or explanations for it. After that, even Newton's laws were questioned, although scientists still depend on them. Since the advent of Einstein's Relativity theories, cosmology has become more fictional each day. Soon a theory of Big Bang Universe was born, and from Big Bang came a Singularity, and Singularity gives birth to Black Holes. Black Holes turns to Worm Holes. Worm Holes seem to have brought us out of our universe, even right out of scientific reality. In fact, now science has already reached Baby Universes when it can't even see or observe beyond the speed of light.... 

But let us stay put on the solid grounds of historical poof and scientific rationality. In the previous pages here I have illustrated that the prime mover of the entire universe is in fact a beautiful symmetry of forces in our dynamic universe, which I called Miracle-12. The structural symmetry of 12 Ecliptic Constellations, which keeps our rotating solar system in place and other spiraling galaxies in dynamic balance is therefore the heart, or hearts of the rotating force fields. Although theoretically a dynamic force field may temporarily have more than 12 equal or symmetrical divisions, our Miracle-12 is a multiple of 2,3,4,6 and 12, the most basic, hence most stable symmetry for a rotating force field as epitomized  by our solar Constellations. However, in ancient Chinese cosmology, all sorts of force fields in the universe under any kind of balances situations are limited to 64 kinds of polar symmetries. That might even be true, although the ancients had never explained or proven this limit. There could be a limit to the polar divisions because in dynamic force field symmetry the more poles there are, the less stable the force field becomes. So, the limit of 64 might even be a practical limit, although theoretically there is no limit...

It is often said that "Laws of nature contain an elegant symmetry". Some people think it is hidden in extremely high temperatures. Well, there you are. It is true! Now we have found it in the center of every galaxy, without which laws of nature would probably collapse! However, this is not the CPT symmetry (particle physics) or any other symmetry. Our symmetry, Miracle-12, is no ordinary symmetry. It is the very engine that produces energy waves for the dynamic universe. According to ancient Chinese cosmology, there are quite a few symmetries hidden in nature's phenomena of changes. The ancient Chinese culture made its own study of nature's symmetries. This specialized study is written in I-Ching, which owed its form purely from observation and then derivations of nature's changing phenomena (See also the article "Story of Ying-Yang, and earliest correlation to cosmology" in the "Related Topics" page). Although science has evolved such a long way from ancient past, some of the original ideas still remain highly inspiring and useful.

I-Ching was developed over a long period between 5300 BC to 550 BC. A fully evolved system was in use around 550 BC, as history records that Confucius (551-479 BC) loved I-Ching in his advanced years. The same I-Ching continued in use for the subsequent millenniums without any alterations. It had been a great influence in the evolution of Chinese philosophy and belief over the ages. The above symbol of I-Ching with its poles of Yin and Yang as well as the Trigrams have become South Korea's national emblem today.....

German mathematician Gottfried von Leibniz (1646-1716) was inspired by the symmetries of Chinese I-Ching's 8 Trigrams (fig on the right. notice Trigrams have 3 rolls of bars, while Hexagrams have 6 bars ) to perfect the binary system of numeration and to invent integral and differential calculus (Newton also claimed the same invention), which are the theoretical ancestor of modern computers. 

 

The Trigrams are said to have also inspired the following Nobel Laureates: Japanese Physicist Hideki Yukawa for elementary particles in 1949, and Chinese physicists Yang Chen Ning and Lee Tsung Dao for particle physics in 1957. Martin Schönberger, in his book The Hidden Key to Life, noted that the 64 Hexagrams of the I-Ching correspond exactly to the 64 DNA codons, the genetic code of life. My own Grandfather Zeng Chuan-Fan being an Officer of Ying and Yang   in the last Ching imperial dynasty had left his writings that inspired me to write these pages....  I-Ching is a formidable system of very old Chinese wisdom, which essentially uses nature's symmetries to predict probabilities through philosophical rationalization. Because of its rational and philosophical basis, it was regarded by the ancients as a science.

In Chinese language I-Ching means the Book of Changes, which implies a dynamic but balanced universe. It describes how nature uses symmetries to carry out all changes. Alternatively, it implies that all changes in nature are caused by polar forces, or by actions and reactions, and that all phenomena of non-stop changes in nature contain within them a dynamic symmetry, which confirms the old saying that "Laws of nature contain an elegant symmetry". Later it was used also as a manual of divination used to predict and understand nature's probability. The probability appears to be analogous, in fact equivalent, to the Probability and Uncertainty  in Quantum Mechanics, or the probability in genealogy (jumping genes), which leads to nature's selection of the fittest and the steps in Darwin's Evolution.  It also appears that each time "God plays dice", the arrow of entropy or of chaos is somehow reversed. Perhaps that's why the very origin of nature's probability or changeability has always been very illusive and quite invisible. That's the reason why scientists and philosophers have been chasing the shadow of nature's symmetries for millenniums. But now T.R.U.T.H explains that this ultimate and very real physical symmetry can be found also inside the galaxies. It is ultimate because it creates and imparts energy waves to all corners of the universe so that nature may perform and regenerate.

 So, if God is the most almighty and supreme existence there is. Then God could hardly be a manlike or such an imperfect humanlike being. Only those who have seen nature through a deep field telescope into the remote cosmos can imagine the awesome beauty, immensity and greatness of the universe, and how insignificant we humans are. But if God is one that creates life and gives energy to all things in the universe, then by definition there can only be one such almighty existence, i. e., the universe, which is completely real, present, prevailing and entirely accountable. So, it's time to question:- " Is the human being, such an insignificant star dust in the awesome universe, with all his greed, lusts and hosts of fallible qualities, good enough to be the image of God, who is the maker of all things? If not, then what qualifies as the image of God, or Divinity? The answer is, the only almighty, in design, in power and in manifestation that qualifies as God is the Universe Itself!" because all those things, life, events, purpose and intelligence, etc., in the universe are present in the universe and created by the universe... Such thoughts are nothing new, the worship of nature was what human forefathers in many cultures believed already many millenniums ago, e.g., the Dao religion in China worships nature, or the universe! Dao religion also uses I-Ching's symmetries to find insight and divination. 

The beauty of the Miracle-12 is not only because it is perfect symmetry of forces, nor because it contains multiple symmetries, but because it is alive and encompasses dynamic choices (Darwin's Natural Selection), and therefore is the hidden embryo of intellectual developments and the seed of evolution in nature. Dynamic symmetry stands ready to change, but in changing there are always motivations and choices. Because symmetries carry inherent essence of equivalence and balance, that's why we observe that all changes in nature obey cost and effect. Nature also keeps its own account books and will surely balance its account in due time.... This finally leads to the creation and manifestation for laws of conservation and meanings and means of regeneration.... In short, all these things and phenomena show that nature is greater than we think, because if we look carefully, we will see not only there are motivations and intelligence around, but there is also a will power, which makes the purpose and the continued existence of all things possible  

Now for my closing notes:- 

Before I make a close to this series of writings on Regenerating Universe Theory, I think I ought to make a note about  how I have struggled to write, and also present my sincere apologies as well as hearty thanks to some earlier readers. Because it has been a wonder that many of them had put up with me and had actually managed to read most or even all of those earlier pages, and then wrote to give me kind and positive responds, which had given me immense pleasures and encouragements to which I am forever indebted. There were altogether some 4 dozens of these wonderful people, to whom I have not yet shown properly my gratitude! There were reasons. Now let me tell you why. 

I have been interested in cosmological phenomena all my life, both in aspects of physics and metaphysics, because my grand father was our district Officer of Ying and Yang in the last Imperial Dynasty. Grand-Pa passed away long before I was born, but he had left behind a collection of very interesting writings (mostly about Ying-Yang, I-Ching, Divination and Chinese cosmology), which I began to read almost as soon as I had been able to comprehend it in my mid teens. They were interesting because I had heard so much about Grandpa life and other legendary stories of out family clan. Anyway life went on and time passed. Towards the end of 1970s I became very ill after suffering from over a decade of stomach ulcers and was forced to undergo a major operation, in which 2/3 of my stomach was removed, and I was also confined at home for quite some time. During my long rest at home I had the chance to look up some 4000 years of family history, and by chance I came across some books on I-Ching, which took me back quickly to my boyhood memory of my Grandpa's writings. The interest grew on me, and gradually I developed some basis ideas of this Regenerating Universe Theory in the next few years that followed. 

The theory increasingly made sense to me! Of course in the last half a century space science and technology had also grown to become the major interest, which of course helped! So when a cosmological theory that shows some prospects to explain the origin of light and gravitation as well as the likelihood to give an overall reasonable picture of the universe without having to resort to unrealistic hypothesis, you want to dig deeper. So from about 1985 onwards I began to approach some professors with my ideas. To my surprise, soon there were signs that my theory was receiving interests. So, after some thoughts I decided to quickly publish a little booklet only for the purpose of establishing my copy rights. This booklet was printed in March of 1998 and was registered officially in the Hong Kong Government. The booklet was also called The Regenerating Universe. However, because the booklet was solely for the purpose of copy rights. It contained only embryonic but essential description of the present theory. After that I kept wanting to rewrite the theory in details properly, as more and more ideas continued to flood my mind.

I continued to be affected by problems of health. Then one day in early 2000 my beloved 94 years old mother suddenly passed away. Mother's love and smile had always made my life fulfilling. Without her I suddenly fell into a unbearable vacuum. Now what I needed was to write down the theory, and at the time I had already acquired an Internet website domain. So I started writing, and the theory was already in my head. It was as if I have always had it ever since I was a child. However, there was also something else very wrong going on. My memory was not under my command. I kept forgetting my English words and grammars, and was reduced to writing in simple spoken English. That's why readers would find that in some pages there are great differences in English expression.  Some days no matter how I tried, nothing would come out.  Then every time before I finished writing a passage, if I should go to another room or just turned my attention to something else for half a minute, I would forget clean what I had written, and so I would start to write a similar passage. So, in one page there could contain 3 to 4 repeat!  I was somewhat ill, but I didn't feel very sick, nor any pain, and there was no need for me to panic. So while I struggled on to put down my theory, time would fly by! And whatever I had written, none of it was good enough! I had to updated it again and again. Yet, each update gave me the chance to revise and reconsider my points as well as to add new points, but I could never end the updates because none of them was good enough! I had to do it again, So it went on! .  

Then suddenly one night in Oct 2005 I woke up with horrific pains from a massive heart attack! But my brain was so badly affected that it did not signaled me how dangerous it was. I somehow got through the night, thinking that it was just one of those most difficult experiences I had had, and went on as usual! Then one day about two weeks later, the sky fell on me while I was out doing shopping! The whole universe started gyrating and spinning and would not stop. I couldn't stand upright and had to sit down and lean on someone's doorstep or perhaps it was some building wall, but even after more than half an hour, still heaven, earth, streets and buildings continued gyrating. My brain was under such extreme pressure that it did not register what danger I was in or the need to call an ambulance! All I could do was to bear it through! And all I could think of was home! However, somehow I survived and did manage to call a taxi to get home and slumped into bed. Then finally I got to think I needed a Doctor. So, the next day I went to my Doctor! But because I did not act promptly on-spot my brain had sustained long term damage..  

After thorough examinations it became clear that my left heart chamber was totally blocked by solid cholesterols without my knowledge, and that I had had a heart attack and I had allowed it to turn into a "Stroke" in the street the day before. So for a long time my brain was not getting enough blood it needed, and my limbs were also not having the required circulation. That was why not only my memory affected, but my brain was so dazed that I didn't know how sick I was. Anyway, I survived both the heart attack and the Stroke after the Doctors inserted two stainless steel stents into my heart. .. So, to cut the story short, starting from the end of 2005 I had been trying to touch up and rewrite the theory page by page. But I was really hoping too much, because the small arteries in my brain remained clotted, which meant no matter how I tried, my brain just refused to perform. So, the only thing I could do was to stop trying. So I left the unfinished writings standing as they were for some couple of years, and doubled up my effects to clear up the stubborn blockages in my brain by taking medicines. That's what I did! Then finally in the Spring of 2011, I thought I had recovered enough to try again! I tried, and it seemed to have worked somewhat, although some days were worst than others and I am still trying! It also meant that about 6 to 7 years had passed since the Stroke and heart attack!   

I can fully understand anybody who had visited my website and read my earlier messy writings (which have now been removed from TRUTH) would drop reading well before he finishes a page. So for those who did stay to read until they've made heads and tails out of my writings, I not only owe them my apologies and explanations, but also my deep gratitude for putting up with me.. And again, for those who had written to me, million thanks! I am glad to report that my health is improving well now. Thank you, thank you, thank you! (21st July 2011) (checked May 12th 2012)
