This is a belt to be worn with other official garments. This belt is carved from Jade with seamless linking rings at the joints. The mystery is that if there were only bronze and perhaps some low quality iron tools 25 centuries ago, then how did the jewelers carry out such precise work on the jade, because Jade is one of the the top ten hardest stones on earth?       The followings are glass beads and necklace made of glass beads unearthed amongst the 15000 burial objects of Marquis Zeng Yi. This glass-work technology is unbelievably sophisticated and advanced considering it was made 25 centuries ago. In fact many of the technologies shown by Marquis Zeng's burial objects are highly advanced and mature, e.g. the tuning of the audio frequencies of the bells ( they have even played Beethoven's music with these bells ), the delicate hollow bronze castings, the gold springs coils, the artistic design of the forms and shapes of the bronze wares, the sophistication of weaponry and the kitchen utensils, the lacquer wares, as well as the following layered and coloured glass working technology and lots more. It should be noted that these technologies were available and were well mature before many other known historic thinkers, scientists and inventors appeared on the world stage.....

Notice the beads at the center of the string are bigger than at the ends (not shown) just as one would find most necklaces sold in jewelry shops today.                      Back to 5000 years DNA Page
